The 2012 Mercedes-Benz GLK350 is the second cheapest Mercedes to buy in the country, but you can never guess how it looks, feels and drives. Close the GLK doors and the metal thump are reminiscent of closing the bank vault - the only thing missing is the rotating wheel. Drive along the train tracks and the GLK feels like it's made of solid blocks - no greetings or giggles giggle behind you. This kind of impenetrable feel is a hallmark of Mercedes ’current design and certainly makes any type of GLK price expected to look good - though in reality, the GLK actually has a very competitive price.

Aside from sharing that sounds of metal with the C-Class sedan on which it is based, the well-designed steering and mounting of the GLK is remarkably similar as well. The C and GLK now differ in engine ratings, however, as the GLK350 antibodies continue to power the 268 horsepower V6, while the C350 was upgraded in 2012. This is not really a problem, as the GLK is still giving the class competitiveness, even though the fuel economy is below average.

The GLK wardrobe is a clip from an old Mercedes block, with a different emphasis placed on the word "block." There is a visible curve, with a design that goes back to the pre-1990s Benzes. When done in black, it is heroic and no doubt German in its beauty. Whether you like the look or not will be your favorite, but the GLK building materials and their design are undeniable. Plenty of ease of use, technology and safety features are available for continuous decoration.

The big problem with GLK is that it may be too crowded for others. Its rear seat and luggage are smaller than most cars in the class, making the Audi Q5, BMW X3 and Volvo XC60 the best choice for families. For a little extra money, you can upgrade to a larger Acura MDX or Lexus RX 350. But for singles or couples with limited cap- and / or drag-and-drop needs, the 2012 Mercedes-Benz GLK350 is a great resource - make a crossover that gets its star sanctified with three points.
